Equipment Provided by Dynamic DJs
When you book with Dynamic DJ's you can be assured of getting quality equipment that is setup neatly with minimal unsitely leads. All our equipment is fully tested prior to every event to ensure it is in peak working condition. In the unlikely event that any issues arise on the night all our DJ's have phone support available whilst they are setting up for your event. You can be assured that the sound you and your guests hear on the night will be of top quality.
Below is a list of the type of equipment that we use when you book with Dynamic DJs:
CD Players - We use top quality CD players such as Pioneer, Denon, Stanton, Numark and Cortex (digital). Our players come in a variety of stlyes including dual CD players (2 players in a single unit) and free standing individual players (2 players are used).
Mixers - We use top quality mixers such as Pioneer, Denon, Stanton and Numark. The mixer is the heart of the DJ setup. The mixer allows the DJ to mix songs together and to control the source of sound. We provide multi channel mixers so that the DJ always has backup channels that can be used in the event of a channel failing.
Amplifier - We use top quality reliable amplifiers which are hidden from view (typically on the floor under the DJ table). The amplifier performs a very simple task of receiving the sound signals from the mixer, amplifying them and piping the result out to the speakers. A singl AMP will perform adequately for up to 200 guests. For larger events multiple Ampilfiers can be daisy chained together if more power is required.
Road Case - All our players and mixers come built into professional road cases so that the setup looks neat on the DJ table. This means minimal messy leads and a tidy setup.
Speakers - Our speakers vary greatly depending on the sound requirements of the event. For under 150 guests (a typical event) we use 2X12" plastic moulded speaker boxes with 400 watts (RMS) power in each box. From there we can move up to 15" and 18" larger boxes that are required for large events of 200 and over 500 guests. The standard setup is 2 speakers however for larger events more speakers can be added along with more amplifiers if the sound requirement dictates.
Speaker Stands - All DJ's setup their speakers on tripod stands so that the sound is crisp and spreads throughout the room.
Microphone - All DJ's carry a mic on a lead for all events. This is used to make announcements such as song requests, etc and can be used by the client if required. We also offer cordless mics for an additional charge.
Lighting - Every DJ carries a minimum of a single DUAL beam disco light. This light is adequate to cover the dance floor area by projecting coloured flecks of light in 2 beams that dance around in circles and flash on an off to the beat of the music. If required additional lighting can be added for a greater light effect allowing projection onto walls and ceilings.
